What is a render in architecture?
In architecture, a render is a visual representation of a project before it is built. It can be a still image or an animation (video render) that highlights details such as materials, lighting, textures, interior design, and landscaping.
There are different types of renders:
Exterior render: ideal for showcasing facades, landscaping, and the integration of a building into a real context and/or its surroundings.

Exterior render
Interior render: widely used to show layout, interior design, lighting, space, and finishes in a livable environment.

What is a 3D render?
A 3D render is the result of the rendering process of a three-dimensional model. By applying design, textures, and lighting to the 3D model, hyper-realistic images with an impressive level of detail are achieved.
Thanks to 3D technology, it is possible to visualize a project from any angle and work with lighting, shadows, and textures to achieve a representation that is true to reality.
What is the purpose of rendering an image or video?
A render transforms a 3D model into a high-quality image or animation that allows you to:
- Communicate your project with realistic and highly appealing images.
- Boost the sales of your real estate project by showcasing it in an impactful way.
- Review your project’s architecture, since it allows you to visualize details before construction.
- Create content for your social networks, such as virtual tours, promotional videos, reels, stories, and much more.
